Birthdays For iOS

Birthdays is an application for iOS devices that reminds you about your friends birthdays. With a quick launch of Birthdays you can see who’s birthday is next and how far away in time it is to their birthday.

Tapping on a person in the list brings up a detail view of the person and their information:

On the day of their birthday, you can quickly send your friend birthday wishes via email or an SMS. For an even more personal touch, you can quickly tap on any of their phone numbers to call to wish them a happy birthday, or get information about an upcoming party.

Each time you launch Birthdays it quickly scans your contacts to be completely up to date with all of the birthdays in your Address Book.

Some other notes:

• Birthdays shows all contacts from your Address Book that have a birthday field entered.

• Birthdays uses local notifications in iOS 4 to alert you of someones birthday on the day of the birthday, as well as 5 days before the birthday.

• The entire application supports the Retina display.
